Granola is a healthy, crunchy breakfast option that pairs wonderfully with yogurt or milk. This Roasted Almond and Cashew Granola from Jammunuts features crispy, golden nuts, oats, and a touch of sweetness for a perfect breakfast or snack.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Jammunuts Almonds
  • 1/2 cup Jammunuts Cashews
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • Dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, etc.)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 180°C (350°F) and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Nuts: Coarsely chop the Jammunuts Almonds and Jammunuts Cashews, leaving some larger pieces for crunch. Set aside.
  3. Mix the Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the oats, chopped nuts, and any dry ingredients you like (such as cinnamon). In a separate saucepan, melt the coconut oil and honey over low heat. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  4. Toss and Coat: Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and toss everything together until evenly coated.
  5. Bake the Granola: Spread the granola mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until the granola is golden and crispy.
